The Carmine and Frank Mangini (CFM) Foundation and Slalom Announce Partnership

Today, The Carmine and Frank Mangini (CFM) Foundation and Slalom announced their successful partnership, which is helping children gain positive role models and realize their full potential.
Launched in 2002 by NFL Coach Eric Mangini and his brother Kyle, the Mangini brothers were inspired to build an organization that honored their late father. They wanted to help kids make good decisions through exposure to positive role models while reinforcing the message that the community cares about them and is deeply invested in their success. Over the past 15 years, the organization has been able to donate over $250,000 in the form of educational scholarships and grants, while holding an annual camp where kids learn football skills as a way to understand the importance of individual work ethic and teamwork.

In 2016, CFM Foundation was introduced to Slalom, the purpose-driven consulting firm that helps companies solve business problems and build for the future. Despite CFM’s exceptional participation at their yearly camp, they were struggling to realize their full potential and were drawn to Slalom Hartford’s thought leadership, core values, and passion to support community engagement. A pro-bono relationship followed, where Slalom brought a cross-disciplinary team to assess CFM’s current state maturity and business capabilities and develop a comprehensive 2017 strategy. With Slalom‘s support, the CFM Foundation Board now has a renewed purpose aligned behind a revised mission and vision. While maintaining outstanding execution around its defining event, CFM is actively expanding, and delivering on a prioritized list of strategic initiatives to ensure success in the coming years.
